Interpreters
If you feel more comfortable speaking a language other than English, our appointment staff will arrange for an interpreter at no cost. Please request interpreting services at the time you make your appointment.
Length of your visit
No two patient visits are exactly alike. The length of your appointment will depend on the complexity of your medical conditions. It's our goal to schedule your appointments so that your evaluation won't be unnecessarily delayed. In some cases a return visit may be necessary. Please note that patients are not seen at our Clinics on Saturdays, Sundays and some holidays.
Canceling Appointments
It is the policy of Pacific Northwest Eye to provide the best care possible for all of our patients. Please be considerate to other patients by providing 24 hours cancellation notice when you are unable to make your appointment. This will provide an opportunity for others to see one of the physicians should the need arise.
What to bring Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time in order to fill out your registration and medical forms. Please bring all your insurance cards. We accept most insurance plans and we are happy to assist in the billing for your visit. However, as always, you are responsible for your co-payment and/or deductible that may apply at the time of service.
Also we will need a complete list of all your medications, names of your doctors and your preferred pharmacy.
On your first visit you will most likely be dilated. Please bring some sunglasses to make your ride home more comfortable. If you feel uncomfortable driving with dilated eyes, you may want to have someone come with you that will be able to drive you home.
Our Appointment Staff Office is equipped with a voice mail system which accepts messages 24 hrs a day, 7 days a week. If you are unable to cancel your appointment during regular business hours, please leave a voice mail message to ensure you will not be charged for your appointment.
